Hi Chris! Except for known issues with the Bean Scripting Framework (which had been incorporated with JSR-223 in Java 6) and the script mediator I don’t think you should have issues with Synapse 1.2 and Java 6 in general.
So if this is your only concern I wouldn’t consider this as a blocker. If you need to you can also workaround the above mentioned issue. Modifying a start script if necessary should also be a quite easy task. Did you face any other specific issues with Synapse 1.2 and Java 6?
