You read in my mind Francesco ;)

You are right, it's exactly what I plan to do.

Cool: looking forward to see it in action, then.

Hi Francesco,

my comments inline:

this sounds simply great! I guess you are working on trunk, right?
Trunk, Yes.

- first add a SyncopeLoginModule in Karaf in order to leverage
directly Syncope "natively" and "deeply" into Karaf

Very very interesting: if you need any support with this, just ask.
I will ! Thanks.

- provide a "properties file" connector in Syncope

Why don't you leverage the existing CSV connector [1] for this purpose?
We use it even for Syncope core integration tests.
Good idea. The purpose is to mimic the PropertiesLoginModule that we
have in Karaf. Thanks to that, we would be able to remove the Karaf
login modules to directly leverage Syncope (of course, when the users
install it).

Oh, now I got it: Karaf's PropertiesLoginModule is a JAAS login module:
so when you say 'a "properties file" connector in Syncope' you mean a
JAAS login module for Karaf deferring the actual authentication to Syncope.
Am I wrong?
