Hi Everybody!
I've spent a lot of time over the last several days on small "style"
fixes to the documentation -- misspellings, grammar, broken links,
paragraph wrapping & formatting. In all, there have been many
hundreds of such small changes. There is more to do there, but I think
the bulk of that work is close to being done now.
I also went through the huge "Tapestry Web Site Updated" thread and
wrote down all of the suggestions that haven't already been
implemented. I'm sure we don't want a JIRA issue for each suggestion,
so I just put them in a wiki page "task list" under the "sandbox"
tree:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TAPESTRY/Documentation+Improvement+Tasks
I hope people feel free to add or remove items from this list. Or
maybe there's a better tracking mechanism for these small items?
Some questions for all of you:
1) Should we say "the Inject annotation", or "the @Inject annotation"?
I have seen it both ways and have generally used the second because
it seems to me more clear.
2) The documentation had several ways of referring to Howard: "HLS
prefers...", "Howard prefers...", "I prefer...". In most cases I have
preferred either "Howard prefers..." or switched to the non-personal
"we ..." where it didn't seem to matter. What's the right way?
Howard, what do you prefer?
