(current) stable release is 5.2.5 ...

Maven, Gradle, Ivy, etc users won't even look at this page, going directly
to repository browsers. I do want to have a suffix for non-stable
releases, so users can only look at the version name and know what they're
using, something that doesn't happen today. The simpler and more explicit,
the better. ;)
