Worked great for me when I tried just now. maven-archiver 2.5 is in the
central repository:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/maven-archiver/2.5/. If you are
trying Maven for the first time, it'll download a bunch of libraries and
there's always a chance for network errors. Is this dependency really the only
one that repeatedly fails? Perhaps rerun from the command line using "mvn
archetype:generate -DarchetypeCatalog=http://tapestry.apache.org/";. (Also Bob,
perhaps we should make this page more command line friendly and less IDE
specific).
