Hi all, The vote to define the Release Manager role for Apache Texera releases <https://lists.apache.org/thread/7frdx9xf7s0t75djtcx6o9kj5nl32tko> has passed. The vote was open for more than 72 hours.
Vote result: +1: * Yicong Huang * Jiadong Bai * Chen Li Ryan Zhang Xuan Gu * Xiaozhen Liu 0: None -1: None * denotes a binding vote. The proposal is therefore adopted. Going forward, each Apache Texera release line should have an assigned Release Manager responsible for coordinating and executing the release process for that release line, including follow-up patch releases. The Release Manager coordinates the process, while release approval still follows the normal Apache voting procedure. There was also a follow-up question about how the Release Manager should be selected. As discussed in the thread, we can start with a call for volunteers for each release line. If there are no volunteers, the PPMC may encourage, nominate, or appoint a Release Manager when needed. Thanks everyone for voting and discussing. Best regards, Yicong Huang
