Thanks for bringing this up. We recently had a very similar experience onboarding users from a biology lab. They are domain experts but had not used Texera before. Some of the main issues we observed were: * **Account onboarding:** Account activation currently requires manual approval, and users are not notified after approval, so they did not know when they could start. * **Dataset selection/upload:** Users were unsure how to select an existing dataset or upload their own data. * **Computing units:** Creating/configuring a CU was not obvious, and users could not find/use the Run button until a CU was created. * **Downloading results:** Downloaded files were missing their file extensions. Our main takeaway was similar to what you described: the workflow itself was not the main difficulty. Users were getting stuck on basic platform concepts and navigation that are obvious to us because we use Texera regularly.
