Happy to help test! I'll run the cross-check from my machine — an Apple Silicon host building linux/amd64 via buildx, so a different host architecture entirely, which should make the comparison more meaningful. Pinning the parameters so we build the same bytes: commit `9ac8c5d5a` (current HEAD of #8812), date 2026-10-08, following `bin/README.md`. I'll start with the two tarballs and post their sha512s here, then work through the images (the three big ones overnight). Will report the full list.
