Main reason is specific version dependencies.
I'm trying different parameters for ruby and co, see:
https://travis-ci.org/bufferoverflow/thrift/
and here
https://github.com/bufferoverflow/thrift/tree/travis
ruby is now up and running...
start reuse php install info from Vagrantfile...
I'm thinking about a provision.sh script to be used within .travis.yml and
Vagrantfile.
