I have finished the move, then found the following in test/README.md:
This is the cross everything integration test suite for Apache Thrift.
executed by
make cross
[...]
Unit tests for languages ar usually located under lib/<lang>/test/
[...]
If you still interested, I can upload the patch, but looks like lib/go/test is
the right place for it, since it is a go-specific unit test and not an
integration test.
