Can't access the last link, but anyway: IMHO the right way is to have git.a.o
suppport https. As long as we don't have that, we may just fallback to
"unsecure".
By the way, what was the planned Go 1.5 release date again? Currently we are at
1.4 and we have to make sure the patch works with it.
