[~jensg] Can you please look at this PR.
It would be good if this can be finalised before 0.21.0 is released as it would
make sense to have the strong UUID type before UUID support is released to
ensure that there is no breaking change when people start adopting UUID on the
C++ side.
I think some of the comments on THRIFT-5772 already applies to this code.
I have an outstanding question on the PR itself, and I would need to merge in
the changes for THRIFT-5776 and then see if I can't add better support for
people that already use boost::uuid to make a transition easier.
