I started to evaluate the use of miow for this. To get the Clone, was very
easy. The next challenge is to implement something like Incoming on
UnixListener. I think it would be more appropriate to have this implemented in
miow and not in thrift.
Unfortunately the miow maintainers are not very responsive. In the README they
state "This crate is basically unmaintained. Do not expect new features or new
releases." So, relying on the acceptance of additional features in miow might
become a blocker.
