Hi,

That message somehow slipped me - it was in my spam folder and I deleted
it accidentally and then I forgot about it.
The crosstests scripts as a whole may have rotten a bit, since Swift
maintainers seem to have vanished and thus throwing Swift out has become
an interesting option. So if you or someone else find & fix issues
there, this is really much appreciated.
In the PR, you mentioned some issues with the Delphi part, and I offered
to help.
Yet I already wondered a bit about it:
> That about covers the php support except for Haxe and Delphi as

> in the cross-test.sh script.
because Delphi is AFAIK not part of that script at all. Plenty of
reasons: it is Windows only, the community version cannot be directly
dopwnloaded (e.g. from a script) because of the complex procedure,
installing unattended is a PITA on its own. Although the license allows
to copy over certain files from a legal install to a CI machine or
Docker build container, we still need a legal version installed
somewhere to serve as source. Greetings from both the chicken and the egg.
To me this just sounds like some never ending story to maintain, so
never even attempted to even try it. Furthermore, to say that my trust
im Emba has not grown over the years would be an understatement, and all
over the place you see people leaving Delphi and moving towards C# or
sth else. There are reasons for it.
And just in case someone comes up with "but there's Free Pascal" - yes,
you are right. We accept patches and pull requests, and new maintainers
are always welcome ;-)
Anyway, if you need help with Delphi, just tell me. I offered to help
and that is still valid.
Have fun,
JensG
