I looked again for that old issue - maybe it wasn't even for TP3 - perhaps it
was in Pipes. Anyway, I seem to recall that there was reason to do {{Tree}} as
an interface because someone wanted to replace our {{Tree}} with their own. I
don't know about having tons of {{Tree}} implementations in TinkerPop but I do
like the flexibility for folks to submit their own.
