I am also trying to do a getorcreate in a single traversal and currently my
code is:

g.V().has('name','marko1666').count().choose(is(gt(0)),__.V().has('name','marko1666'),__.addV('person').property('name','marko1666'))
{code}
but I rather like to do
{code:java}
g.V().has('name','marko1666').as('a').count().choose(is(gt(0)),__.select('a'),__.addV('person').property('name','marko1666'))
{code}
but it seems that a 'select'-step after a 'count'-step gives me an empty result
