Jorge Bay commented on TINKERPOP-1928:

bq. I think I've advocated for the opposite on a number of occasions.
This could make a nice discussion in the mailing list (I can start that when I
have some free cycles). I see the GLVs, as an open set of drivers that can get
users up and running with the Gremlin server, with an API that is easy to
extend. I think striving to keep the drivers to match any server feature we
could risk slowing graph computing development, which IMO is where the value of
TinkerPop project is.
> Gremlin .Net driver not able produce partial results.

> Gremlin.Net accumulates partial results and returns consolidated result. Java
> driver does have the capability to stream partial result.
>
> We should try to achieve consistent behavior for other drivers like python,
> nodejs etc as well.
