I'm a little concerned that when we do this, tests will be bound to the OS that we're executing on. I don't imagine real problems with that, but ughhh.....if there are it's going to stink. I wonder if we shouldn't have a configuration that forces regular java NIO even on LInux. Then in the tests we have a whole class of tests that run with that setting turned on so that if we happen to be on linux we get coverage there. Do you have any thoughts on this?
