stephen mallette commented on TINKERPOP-1255: --------------------------------------------- We expect more releases on the 3.1.x line of code. We're working on 3.1.3 now as well as 3.2.1. There are still a number of users on 3.1.x line and community library support only for 3.1.x. I don't understand why there needs to be some explanation of when to use 3.1.2 and when not to. If you are a user and your implementation of TinkerPop only works with 3.1.2 then you use 3.1.2. If you are lucky enough to have an implementation that uses 3.2.0 then you would use that. In other words, our users will generally know what they need to download and what they don't and if they don't know it would likely be preferred that they get started with the newer 3.2.0 version. > Please delete old releases from mirroring system > ------------------------------------------------ > > Key: TINKERPOP-1255 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TINKERPOP-1255 > Project: TinkerPop > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: build-release > Affects Versions: 3.1.1-incubating > Environment: > https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/incubator/tinkerpop/ > Reporter: Sebb > Assignee: stephen mallette > > To reduce the load on the ASF mirrors, projects are required to delete old > releases [1] > Please can you remove all non-current releases? > Thanks! > [1] http://www.apache.org/dev/release.html#when-to-archive -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
