Hi [~s...@apache.org] i asked Daniel Gruno, one of our mentors, to comment on
this issue as he's aware of our release patterns and the details of our
project. He didn't feel that we were out of line with the archive policy given
his knowledge of our project. He likened it to httpd where "what you have is
kind'a like httpd having 2.2 and 2.4 at the same time". Does that help put this
issue to rest?
