RE: Trafodion master rh6 Daily Test Result - 177 - Still Failing

Hi folks,

Unfortunately, hive and jdbc tests have been failing for a while.  

The charsets tests began hanging (on master branch) starting with the Aug 19 
build.  Changes that day were:

[TRAFODION-2709] getpwuid is not a Thread-safe function (commit: 
ba880338077efa5a1c6753ab5fe16888e98df1c9)
[TRAFODION-2716] Query compilation gets stuck at listSnapshots() at (commit: 
eb4b4aaa584291fb8ff8588c423b8854897c9c2a) 
TRAFODION-2722 Change purgedata to use HBase truncate api (commit: 
a3669571d6df1d6b6aa2ae8b521dd662f2a910a7) 

Hopefully we can narrow this one down and get a fix for regressions.
