Each device could be a credit card with or something really minimal resources stuff a USB with a chip and internet access. Each device could be wearable or in my case it could be small printer, or something domotic related. Everything enough tiny and limited resources, the sentence "the pc is the network" nowadays is coming true. Actually if we have the network we can store in the cloud quite everything, we need only the resources cpu/flash drive/ram to run a webservice or a set of webservice..do remotely our tasks and that's all:) We know that the storage is in the cloud. What I have in my mind to leverage to the composition for doing the glue thru different services. The application in the device is a sca application with leverage on services in the cloud, and get references from a well known host domain. SCA is basically a way to glue different services around the world in an application. I dont mean to support all the nuts and belts of SCA, but support enough to do application with small limited resources: the implementation code, the domain code, the xml, the soap o restful embedded parser, that's it. > > One of the challenges I see is to SCA-enable an embedded device. Yes that is the point, then we can think to implement something cool with it. I am going to see the code this week, I let u know. > What do you think, is it a suitable pillar for the "SCA clouded embedded > devices framework"? I have not seen the code..but it sounds good. I wanna something simple to incorporate in tuscany embedded sca. > Thanks, > Philipp > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Giorgio Zoppi [mailto:giorgio.zo...@gmail.com] >> Sent: Friday, October 07, 2011 3:32 PM >> To: tuscany-...@ws.apache.org >> Subject: Cloud enabled devices. >> >> Hi all, >> are you tired of legacy code?
