I am currently researching for my final year project for a
computer science degree. The project is aimed at developing
a tool to assist people with dyslexia. I was thinking of a
word processor that has features that will assist people
with dyslexia. Features such as grammar and spell checking
aimed at common mistakes associated with dyslexia, colour
coordination to assist readability of documents, etc.
I also was thinking of a speech option for further assistance.
Could you help me with any information about this idea, is it feasible, is
there any other projects that are similar to this? Also what do think
about the speech option idea? Thank you.
