Hi all, I have had a look at maybe modernizing the UIMA website a bit. Here is the first throw at that:
https://uima.staged.apache.org/ The site is built from here: https://github.com/apache/uima-site/tree/new-site-v1 There is some background information on the site (and how it relates to the old site) here: https://uima.staged.apache.org/migration.html Comments are welcome :) On the current site I have mixed content changes with layout changes. However, we should probably discuss them separately. One particular content change is that I dropped the old https://uima.apache.org/management.html page from the new site deferring simply to the conventions of the ASF in general on releases, voting, PMC membership, etc. However, the old page mentioned e.g. that new members would need to be voted in with a "3/4 positive vote" which I didn't even knew existed ;) Cheers, -- Richard
