According to the GraphChi Java pom, the license seems to be Apache License v2.

https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/graphchi/graphchi-java_2.11/0.2.2/graphchi-java_2.11-0.2.2.pom

IMHO, we can move forward with Wayang release, and we have a clear license definition in the pom. In the mean time, we can ask to GraphChi Java guys to be clearer on their GitHub.

Thoughts ?

JB

Heya Matt,

I’m writing on behalf of the Apache Wayang project (wayang.apache.org
<http://wayang.apache.org/>). We use graphchi-java in our project, but since
graphchi-java does not have any licenses in the repo we’d ask if you could put a
license to the project?
Here’s the release thread:
https://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-general/202110.mbox/browser
<https://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-general/202110.mbox/browser>

Would be awesome if you could help here! We can’t release Apache Wayang since
the license is unclear, which blocks us.

Thanks, stay safe,
