Bonjour,

... but would it not be a good idea to have a pop-up list or something
like that linking directly from http://www.openoffice.org to the main
pages of the native-lang communities?
The prominent "native languages" link points to
http://projects.openoffice.org/native-lang.html with many informations
not really necessary for users just trying out what OpenOffice.org means
at all (and probably even less intuitive if you don't understand English).
I don't think we need a multilingual main page, but some kind of direct
links (like the ones on [1]) or a more intuitive additional page ([2],
still under construction) might help...
Such a solution would have the disadvantage of manual updates with every
new native-lang project. (I don't know if there exist a possibility to
read the projects from the native-lang page and put it in such a list
automatically...)
But this could help people without knowledge in English to reach a OOo
page where they can find out what they want to know about the product
and the community.
I send this mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], perhaps it should be discussed there...
Best regards
Bernhard
