I really appreciate your work, but... (I know shitty start ;), I really do appreciate the fact that you throw designs at us as well, which definitely look good, and sometimes things stay abstract too long ) ... but I am not sure whether we should just move forward, pick a design and implement it now already. That is what we've done last time, and what we have now is the result of that. For example, all your designs feature a news section. We have never written down a requirement (this sounds very formal, but it isn't at all that formal, it is just about ordering all of our thoughts and results of investigations) for such a section. We should first agree on what we want, instead of having the design dictate us what is possible. I hope I do not hold your enthusiasm, but it is quite a project to design for, there are many things we need to take into account, and thus need some more thorough thinking than just about the nicest configuration of elements we may even not be happy with in the first place. Btw. what do you think about a menubar? Do you think your design should do without (since you have never added one), or have you always considered your design to feature the menubar?
