Hi Maarten, Ivan et al,
We are thinking of putting up a new welcome / homepage for the
OpenOffice.org Community Forums at http://user.services.openoffice.org/
- if you click on that link you'll see that at the moment it is just
redirecting to http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/
I would like to use the same design as has been discussed here, to keep
this page consistent with the new design of the OOo Homepage.
I've copied the page and created this very quick example:
http://www.8daysaweek.co.uk/usooo/ (Ivan, I've taken out the image links
to your site, so you won't be getting unnecessary traffic!).
Before I go any further with this in the discussion on the forums
<http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=2652>,
I just wanted to check with you that you are happy for us to use this
design. If so, and the volunteer group at the forums also agree on this
approach, I'll copy the page again when the OOo Homepage goes live and
use the final version, hopefully with some or all of the elements
working (I've taken out the search/lang/login box etc at the moment, as
I'm not sure whether these will work from
http://user.services.openoffice.org/)?
Regards,
James
