That is why conditional CSS is for. If you read the article I post, you
are able to display a simpler layout for IE6 dumb engine. That way you
wont have tabs but a horizontal list.

like that. It would require a JavaScript solution, and then we'd have

The current solution is just to make sure IE6 is not the show stopper,

would have liked to fix the tabs for IE6.
IE6 market share is dropping anyway... (though still substantial, twice
as big as Firefox according to this source[1], IE 7 is more popular)
