Does CTRL+F5 fix the message? I get it too sometimes but I assumed it
was because I might be behind a caching proxy, and it fit the
symptoms. However, it might be the OOo website server that's doing the
caching...

For me, the results vary; i.e. some sections of the site will say I am
logged in, others will not. Again, I assumed this was because of
caching, and a forced refresh always got the desired result.

I have experienced this too - you should be taken to the login page
ONLY if you are already logged in (and the header is falsely reporting
that you are NOT logged in - again CTRL+F5 should clear this up).
Otherwise, you will be logged in and redirected back to the page you
were previously on.

So it looks like the functionality is working correctly (otherwise it
wouldn't change on CTRL+F5), but there is something odd going on with
caching... please let me know if you get the same results.
