Maybe some of you noticed that there was some problems with the OOoWiki
today reporting errors something along the lines of "too many
connections". This happens when there are too many open connections on
the MySQL database. This can be caused by many things... no one
specific seems to stand out.
This has been fixed now. The Wiki server was restarted and a MySQL
repair was ran on one broken table:
REPAIR TABLE objectcache
This is not the first time the objectcache table has crashed/broken
recently. If anyone has any ideas or knowledge of this table in
MediaWiki, or in general with MySQL and can provide some insight here on
howw to fix this more permanently... or any other suggestions, it would
be most welcome :-)
