The "too many connections" error message can be misleading at times -
the root cause can be a lack of available memory on the server (I
suppose in this "for the zone").

So, if you have made changes to allow more connections and still the
problem persists I would take a look at the memory being allocated
during peak loads to see if that might be the culprit here.

Hey Drew... The memory thing is a distinct possibility... but oddly
enough, nothing much has changed lately (that I know of).

Immediately after a restart, the Wiki works.. for a little while.. say
30 mins until the connections max out again.

As it stands, as of 19:50 CET, the Wiki is still down... IT is looking
into it.

Ok - just for discussion sake, when you issue the command
SHOW GLOBAL STATUS

How many connections are being reported.

I suppose that should have been set in the past tense :>)
