My students know me as "Mr. Grammar Queen." I shall put on my tiara and 
proclaim that I do not like excessive use of passive voice.

  "If JavaScript is disabled, the page will not display correctly."

The first passive voice ("is disabled") is fine; the subject 
(JavaScript) is the important part, not who disabled JavaScript.

This is probably more information than you needed.
