Hi Volker, As far as I can see, this is a caching issue; the server is serving cached pages to users (this is why the page sometimes says that the user is logged in, and sometimes not). Usually, servers don't serve cached pages to authenticated users, but it appears that this was enabled back when the site experienced overwhelming demand for OOo 3. As mentioned, the problem was reported before the new header had been implemented.
