I've made a change to the FlaggedRevs extension in the OOoWiki. For a
description of what FlaggedRevs is, see:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:FlaggedRevs
I've added two new variables to the Wiki configuration:
$wgFlaggedRevsReviewForDefault = true;
$wgFlaggedRevsOverride = false;
which has the effect of turning off the extension across the Wiki for
all pages.
If FlaggedRevs is required for a specific Wiki page, it can be turned on
for that page only by following these steps:
- Click Protect on a page you want to enable FlaggedRevs
- Click the "configured" link in the line at the top of the Protect
page that reads "...page stability settings can be configured."
- Set options as required for FlaggedRevs
- Click Confirm

Thanks. That should get rid of the one real nuisance I've encountered:
the notice that "there are no reviewed versions" often overlays the text
at the beginning of the page, and won't go away without a review.
The other problems should only bother the folks who want to look at the
review results. I find a number of pages with technical depth
"excellent", but readability, well, "needs improvement." Something needs
to be added, like "Intended for" or "Recommended for" , with options
from "Novice" up to "Sixteen fingers" (folks who can do hex the easy way).
