elastic search URL is defined as:
https://github.com/downloads/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-0.19.0.tar.gz}
this redirects to:
http://cloud.github.com/downloads/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-0.19.0.tar.gz
and curl (for me) wouldn't follow the redirect, so bailed out.
should we use the cloud.github.com URL ?
