Using the java.util.Arrays.useLegacyMergeSort jvm parameter with the maven command like below solved the problem
_JAVA_OPTIONS=-Djava.util.Arrays.useLegacyMergeSort=true mvn clean install Thanks Farasath and Jayanga for the solution.
