WsGen only supports JAXB 2 generation. As long as you support JAXB 1, 1.5
requirement won't matter, given retrotranslator features, as mentioned in a
related but. If you don't support JAXB 1, people can't use xfire in a
schema-to-java environement w/ WebSphere 6 and other j2ee 1.4 app server, which
is a big hit.
I hope this doesn't just get dismissed as an inconvenience.
