I won't intrude on the design discussion, sounds good.
Just want to add a datapoint that with HBase 0.92.1 + Hadoop 1.0.2 + ZooKeeper
3.4.3 enough has changed timing wise from the time of the initial SASL auth
contribution to make starting HBase RegionServers problematic. When I apply the
latest patch on this issue, it's much better.
