It was just much much easier to write a script that uses the C CLI than to
write (or even understand) ZooKeeper's C++ tests. After looking at the tests,
we were not even sure that there are currently tests that are sufficiently
close to what we need to do.
In addition, this way we also test the C CLI. Michi is working on converting
the script to bash.
