I agree, but it'd be nice to make the distinction between the two jiras clear. 
We can also use SSL authentication, so I assume we can narrow down the scope of 
this jira to just SASL or perhaps leave the decision of whether to use SSL 
authentication at all to this jira and have a note in the other.
