What you’re describing is passive aggressive behaviour, and this too is 
unacceptable.

It is not fair on people who do work in good faith to be scared of having 
sudden abuse flung at them by collaborators who refuse to abide by the 
established rules, and impose rules of their own. To be clear, none of what you 
propose is reasonable or acceptable.

As I made clear in another message, the message that started this thread is a 
clear example of unchecked abusive behaviour. I am calling this behaviour out 
explicitly as unacceptable in an open source community.
