The proposal[1] as it stands is to drop all aspects of 32-bit support, i.e. client, server, gfapi, etc., going forward from glusterfs-8. This should be considered advanced notice that consumers that have dependencies need to plan accordingly. Please feel free though to add your thoughts to the issue.
