Every once in a while something pulls in the grub stack. For a long
time this was grubby. Maybe now it's something else.

This shouldn't be the case. Unless there's a bug, grub2 may be
installed an unused. If it interferes with sd-boot, please file
a bug.

And finally, you can remove protected packages by using 'rpm -e'
directly.
