With the upstream hat on, I think it'd make a lot of sense to include those files in the systemd upstream. This would be similar to the existing mappings that we keep for keyboards mappings, hardware descriptions, autosuspend rules, etc. With the downstream hat on, what is the plan for this Change: with the switch from stubble to sd-stub, where are the hwid → dtb mappings coming from?
