please do not, grubby is a stable piece of software over many years and respects manual changes in the kernel line perfectly on updates and does NOT TOUCH older kernel entries "grub2-mkconfig" is bloatware (as grub2 at all) and does way too much which can and will be broken sooner or later one nice example F17: /etc/grub.d/10_linux.save: line 25: /usr/lib/grub/grub-mkconfig_lib: file or directory not found have fun if something is going wrong by creating the config since "grub2-mkconfig" is re-creating the whole config file including the older entries
