Fedora is not going to neither throwing away repositories or start bundling libraries. Sandboxed applications will be provided by upstream directly and not by the distribution and they may or may not choose to bundle libraries. Users already use a variety of installation tools outside the distro repo model (language specific tools like pip for example). This is just another choice for certain use cases. Rahul
