Well, yes, if new libraries are needed, the kde-unstable updates will also 
upgrade those libraries. (It doesn't usually happen with Qt, but it is the 
norm for kdelibs and can also happen with some other libraries.) I still 
think this is less of a mess than having BOTH the stable/legacy AND the 
unstable/new library on the system.
