Chris: Tangentially, nowknowing that Cheese talks through different drivers might just help me with another issue. Cheese image freezes 100% of the time on the XO 1.0 and XO 1.5, on either Sugar or Gnome when the machine is also displaying through an external USB2VGA monitor. Doesnt matter whether there is an external camera, or the built-in - image is frozen. Guvcview, on the other hand, works just peachy, built-in or external with the Veho external monitor or not.. Hmmmm.
