How would you propose measuring interference levels, and how long would this measurement be allowed to take? The measurement would delay the setup of the ad-hoc network on the laptop. The measurement would require the participation of another node in the ad-hoc network. If another node is not available, how long should the laptop wait before giving up on the measurement?
